BELOIT, KS –  Farmway Co-op, Inc. received for the ninth year in a row the OSHA Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) award, for its exemplary safety and training.

“We are very pleased to be recognized for our dedication to a safe work environment,” said David Edwards, Farmway Safety Director. “The well-being of our employees and our customers is paramount.”

Edwards added that some of the contributing factors to the overall success of Farmway’s safety record include their employee’s involvement in identifying hazards, communication of safety improvements, safety awareness amongst the entire team and an active safety committee.

SHARP recognizes employers with less than 250 employees who operate excellent safety and health management systems. SHARP is one of the highest awards OSHA can present to a company.
