BELOIT, Kansas –Farmway employees and board of directors invite members to the 106th Annual Meeting of Farmway Co-op, Inc.  

The 2017 Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, May 4, at the St. John’s High School, 209 S. Cherry Street, Beloit. The meal will begin at 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by the business portion of the meeting.  

During the business meeting, open positions for the Board of Directors will be filled by election and the annual audit of the accounts of the corporation will be submitted. The meeting will also include a presentation of the business activities of the past year.  

Producer member-owners will be voting on directors at the Annual Meeting. This year’s expiring terms include those of Eric Eilert of Beloit, District #1; Alan Aufdemberge of Lincoln, District #2; Ken Keil of Concordia, District #3; and Ron Benson of Clay Center, District #4. These gentlemen are eligible for reelection.  

The Annual Meeting will also include information regarding the proposed merger between Farmway and neighbor cooperative, Central Valley Ag (CVA). “Increasing and improving the value to our members is our primary focus and we believe strongly that through a unified cooperative we can improve value to our membership,” said Tim Porter, Farmway Board Chairman. “With a positive vote, our membership can ensure a long-term, viable local cooperative that will thrive in the decades ahead.”  

Initial merger discussions between Farmway and CVA began in January 2017, with the respective boards meeting in April to unanimously approve an Agreement and Plan of Merger upon a Membership Vote of Approval. To learn more visit
