New Agronomy Field Marketers
join Farmway's team


 Several new Agronomy Field Marketers have been hired by Farmway Co-op, Inc. in the past several months.
These new Field Marketers include:

            Ella Pachta, will graduate in December from Kansas State University in December when she completes her Master Degree in Agronomy with an emphasis in Weed Science.

She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2005.

            Pachta is orignically from Wilsonville, NE and began with Farmway Co-op October 15th.

            She will call on customers in the Concordia and Belleville areas. She and Chris, her husband, who works as an agronomist for Farmers Co-op in Hanover, live at Belleville.

            Ray Herold, Lucas, joined Farmway Co-op on September 10th. Ray is a familiar face in the agronomy industry as he previously worked for Phillips Seed since 2000.

            Prior to that, he was employed by Star Seed from July 1999 through June 2000. He also worked for Great Plains Mfg. for six years.

            Herold will work with those producers in the Lincoln, Denmark and Westfall areas.

            He and wife LeAnn have two married children and five grandchildren.

           Josh Woellhof began with Farmway Co-op October 5th.

           Originally from Clay Center, Josh lives in Osborne at the present time, but will be relocating to home in the country south of Osborne.

            He graduated from Kansas State University in August 2007 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agronomy (soil science and environmental science with secondary studies in natural resources and environmental science). He also attended Hutchison Community College from 2002-2004.

            Josh will be working with producers in the Hunter, Sylvan Grove and western Lincoln County area.

           Sheldon Koppes, began with Farmway Co-op when the cooperative merged with Farmers Union Cooperative at Clay Center.

            He had been an Airmax operator for Clay Center for five years and continued in this position until September 23, 2007 when he became an Agronomy Field Marketer for Farmway. He will work with producers in the Clay Center, Leonardville and Miltonvale location areas.

            Koppes graduated from Clay Center High School in 1998.
            He and wife Danelle have three children: Luke, 6, Rhett, 5, and Gabby, 1.
