| Scholarship winners announced
Justin Gengler and Karl Dawn Hobbs, both of Beloit, are the Farmway Co-op Scholarship recipients for the 2009-2010 school year.
These two students each received a $1,000 scholarship from Farmway Co-op, Inc.
Gengler, the son of Craig and Jolene Gengler, will be a sophomore at Benedictine College in Atchison, KS. He is pursuing a degree in Ag Business with a focus in commoditiy marketing. He intends to add a second major in Economics or Accounting.
Hobbs, the daughter of Dan and Rita Hobbs, will be a junior at Kansas State University. Her plans are to pursue a double major in Agriculture Education and Animal Science. Karl Dawn spent her first two years at Hutchinson Community College. This is her second time to win the Farmway Co-op Scholarship.
